01 FAQ What is SwyftScripts?

SwyftScripts is a healthcare technology platform that partners with local and independent pharmacies to provide same-day prescription delivery to patients for free.

02 FAQ How does it work?

SwyftScripts offers a free mobile app that is available via the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). It’s a simple 3-step process.

  1. Download the mobile app and set up your account
  2. Send us your prescription
    1.  Transfer a prescription to us from your previous pharmacy by uploading an image of the container in the mobile app or by telling us where to transfer it from
    2. Have your doctor send us the new prescription by e-scribing it to our Houston-based class G pharmacy, SwyftScripts
  3. SwyftScripts then assigns it to the pharmacy nearest you and coordinates the delivery. You can pay your copay and even shop for non-prescription items to add to your order!
03 FAQ How do I send a new prescription to SwyftScripts?

Just like you would with any regular pharmacy, you can have your doctor e-scribe the medication to us at our Houston-based class G pharmacy, SwyftScripts, located at 7324 Southwest Freeway Suite 975 Houston, TX 77074 OR have it faxed to us at (888)799-3879.

05 FAQ Can I transfer refills from another pharmacy to SwyftScripts?

Within the SwyftScripts Mobile app, you can transfer a prescription by uploading an image of the prescription container, or providing us with the information of the pharmacy it was previously filled at and we will conduct the transfer on your behalf. You can also call or text us to coordinate the transfer on your behalf at (888)799-3879

06 FAQ Is SwyftScripts secure?

SwyftScripts is built on state-of-the-art technology which is rigorously encrypted and meets all federal PHI regulations. SwyftScripts patients also have an exclusive username and password that is known only to them.

07 FAQ How long does delivery take?

SwyftScripts delivers your prescription within 1-2 hours of receiving the order, oftentimes much sooner. If we receive an order outside of business hours, we will deliver it as soon as we open the next day. In rare events, certain factors can cause delays (for example, if your insurance company wants more info from your doctor). We make sure to keep you in the loop throughout the entire process.

08 FAQ How do I choose a SwyftScripts username and password?
  • Your username must:
    • Be between 5 and 24 characters
    • Contain only letters and numbers (no symbols)
    • Once selected, your username cannot be changed.
  • Your password must:
    • Be at least 7 characters
    • Contain one uppercase letter
    • One lowercase letter
    • One number or symbol
    • Be different than your username
09 FAQ What should I do if I do not understand my prescription information?

You can contact the pharmacy directly to receive clarity on anything relating to your medication.

10 FAQ Can I track how far my prescription is from my residence?

Yes, you will be able to see exactly how far your prescription is from your residence and what time it will be delivered.

11 FAQ How much does delivery cost?

Prescription delivery is absolutely free, just pay your copay.

12 FAQ Is SwyftScripts delivery safe?

Very. SwyftScripts partners with trusted delivery partners to ensure all deliveries are safe and meet the federal requirements of HIPAA. Our pharmacies make sure that the only information that can be seen during delivery is the name and delivery address. Only the pharmacist and patient know what is being delivered.

13 FAQ Can I expedite my prescription delivery?

Yes, prescriptions can be expedited to one-hour delivery.

14 FAQ Is there an extra charge to expedite my delivery?

Yes, to expedite to one-hour delivery, there will be a $5.00 charge

15 FAQ Can I add other items to be delivered with my prescription?

Yes, you can shop for non-prescription and OTC (over the counter) items offered at the pharmacy via the mobile application, which can be added to the delivery as well.

16 FAQ What if I am not home when the courier delivers the prescription?

If the prescription does not need to be signed, it can be left outside your house or a place you prefer. You can also specify a timeframe for delivery in the future.

17 FAQ Do I have to sign for my prescription when it gets delivered?

Signature and proof of identification is only required when the delivering pharmacy requires it.

18 FAQ How do I pay for my medication?

You can pay for your medication through the SwyftScripts Application.

19 FAQ What should I do if my pharmacy information is incorrect?

You can update your preferred pharmacy and delivery address in the mobile app or call/text SwyftScripts at 1-888-799-3879.

20 FAQ Is my area covered for SwyftScripts Delivery?
